TV Suggestion: Episodes

January 18 By Iggy 2 Comments

Seeing that the The Golden Globes were this past Sunday and Matt LeBlanc is fresh off of his win, I bring to you Episodes. The show has only had one short season but I think it is worth catching up on in preparation for season two. Episodes is available from Amazon.com

Episodes is a half hour comedy about a couple from England who are sought out by an American television producer to bring their British series to America. The couple agrees to come to America and create their show for an American audience, unfortunately the show they originally created gets “reworked” to a point of ridiculousness.

Episodes stars LeBlanc, who is actually playing a fictionalized version of himself and is the best he has been since Friends. It also stars Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig as the charming couple from England who don’t quite know what is in store for them.

Episodes is a quirky and smart comedy that grabs your attention more and more with each episode. If you have the time you can fly through the first season in a day. Episodes is a new series that began airing in 2011, season 2 is currently in production and should be airing soon on Showtime.

Hopefully you do check it out, I really like this show and hope to see many seasons to come, I am getting sick and tired of really funny and smart comedies getting cancelled before their time. Please let me know what you think in the comments section!
