Our Focus is creating practical blog content about Cinematography, Working as a Lighting Technician, Assistant Directing, Production Assisting, Acting and many other aspects of film making.

We are industry professionals using our experience and training to help you kick-start your career or to just get better at what you already do. We spend our days working on professional level film and television sets and wish to bring a level of practicality and real world experience to film blogs in general.

About the Creators

Igor Alves (a.k.a. Iggy) has been working as a lighting technician and cinematographer in Toronto, Canada since early 2007. He has worked on productions of all types and sizes with some of the best Directors and Cinematographers Canada has to offer.
